One of the best American metal bands - they put to shame their European counterparts in style and genre (bands like Dimmu Borgir). The only 'flaw' that any VS album has ever had was the production being flat and compressed sounding to an extraordinary degree, but it doesn't matter. Phenomenal album. Pleeeeeeassse release Psychotic Sculpture and BTCE on BC! This album is exceedingly good. Quite underrated. Archmage Orladin

Fantastic album, which over the years has become IMPOSSIBLE to find (the 2006 version) - even to pirate it! It's great to have this, but I have one complaint: the 2006 version of Invisible Kingdom had one of my favorite guitar solos ever, and it's just not anywhere near as good or compelling on this version. A real shame. Still quite glad to have this. Please release Psychotic Sculpture and Beyond the Cursed Eclipse on BC! Archmage Orladin

This is the very pinnacle of the band's work. The amount of great songs is staggering.
They don't experiment excessively, but what they do sticks forcefully in my mind. I can't single out a single best song, cause there's too much of them - The Cavernous Deep, Nonextence, Grit, Among Ashes and Monoliths and even Black waters have all set places in several of my playlists. This album hit me off guard, and it hit strong. One of the best in 2021 steeplejack
